Gear and I haven't touched this in over a year and a half. I think it's been about 20 months, which is, absurd, I suppose. I know we attracted a few people eager to see where we were going with our pictures involving "the core". Alas, Gear and I had a temporary lapse in communication at the time, and our will to persue this joint project never returned. Unfortunate as it is, I, Redline have returned under my main Internet pseudonym of Alias Ethan. Gear on the other hand, ate too much peyote and disappeared into the mountainous regions of Colorado... In reality, he didn't, and an explanation follows.
This post constitutes the first journal entry of the new FazeStudio, however Gear's old posts and deviations will be kept around as a lasting tribute to our collaboration. I know this might strike a nerve with a few of you, seeing a few similarities with this account and the situation that arose between DeviantArt founders jark and spyed. I assure you, it is not. I petitioned Gear in a conversation earlier today to take sole control over the account and he agreed, wishing me luck. He and his deviations are welcome and may in future be occasionally displayed at his request.
I will not commence uploading deviations immediately, as I've yet to reinstall my programs on my new computer, which will itself be featured. A revisiting of the Core Concept is also in the works, for all those who wanted to see it. I hope at least a few of you are enthusiastic about this new direction, and I'll be submitting something within a week. Thanks for your time, and I believe I speak for all of us in wishing Gear well in his final year of high school. As part of my tribute to his contribution, I've featured Spiders, Gear's one and only scrap.
Good luck young Grasshopper... you've made Sensei proud.
